Moving Forward

With the demand for Galletti increasing and the current home becoming too small to accommodate the growing family, it was decided that a bigger family home was needed. In 1954, the Brincat family moved to their new home and bakery in Santa Venera, a small town not far from their origins.

Following Pio’s footsteps, his 11 children worked hard in the bakery, waking up early and sleeping late at night. With the increased space and help from his children, a new product was launched - Biskuttelli (Rusks), another traditional favourite on the Maltese Islands.
